Content updates

Refreshing copy, data or imagery across your print materials to keep everything current

The content of your marketing materials changes over time — prices update, services evolve, statistics get replaced, and imagery needs refreshing. Without a reliable process for making those updates, materials get used long after they've become inaccurate.

Content updates keep your print and digital materials current. Accurate, on-brand, and delivered in the correct production format — so the information your team and your customers are working from reflects the reality of your business today, not where it was twelve months ago.

What Is Our Content updates Service

Content updates are changes made to the text, data, imagery or other content within existing design files — such as updating pricing information, refreshing case study content, replacing photographs or amending product descriptions. They are carried out within the existing design framework, maintaining the original layout and visual standards while ensuring all information is current and accurate.

Why Choose Our Content updates Service

You need this when you’re running a promotion that benefits from direct physical delivery to prospects, when you want to reach a defined audience of businesses or households within a specific catchment area, or when a special offer, event or announcement needs to land in front of the right people in a way that email and digital can’t guarantee. Direct mail with a specific creative brief and distribution plan converts a physical channel into a measurable campaign tool.

What's Included In Our Content updates Service

This service includes a direct mail strategy, list selection, copywriting, design, print production, personalisation and fulfilment. Covers response mechanism setup, delivery management and post-campaign analysis. Delivered as a fully managed direct mail programme from brief to delivery.

Content that's out of date doesn't just provide incorrect information — it signals that nobody is paying attention. Keeping materials current is one of the simplest and most impactful ways to maintain the impression of a business that's on top of its game.

Why We’re Different

Most marketing companies focus on channels and tactics.
We focus on reaction.

Before selecting platforms, formats, or media spend, we define how your audience thinks, feels, and decides. We use behavioural psychology to understand what will capture attention, build trust, and motivate action — then choose the channels that best support that outcome.

Every channel we use has a clear purpose, a defined role, and a measurable objective. Nothing is done “because it’s popular” or “because it’s expected”.

The result is marketing that feels natural to engage with, works across multiple channels, and is designed to deliver meaningful, long-term results.

Defined changes to the text, data, imagery or information within an existing, approved design — updating statistics, replacing photography, revising product specifications, adding new content or removing outdated information — without changing the design structure.

Content updates change what the design communicates (new data, updated copy, different images) without altering the design itself. Design amendments change how the design looks (layout, colour, typography). Both are common maintenance tasks for ongoing marketing materials.

Annual reports (updated financial data), product brochures (new products or revised specifications), capability documents (new case studies and testimonials), presentations (updated metrics and examples) and website-sourced materials (refreshed content from approved sources).

With a clearly marked-up version of the existing document showing exactly what text is changing, what images are being replaced (with the new files supplied at the correct resolution) and what data is being updated — with the new content supplied in final, approved form.

Supplying final content that has not been fully proofread before submission. A content update to a design is typically reproduced as supplied. Errors in the supplied content become errors in the finished design.

Straightforward text and data updates to a well-structured design file can typically be completed in one to three working days. Projects with multiple updates, new image placement or layout adjustments resulting from content changes may take longer.

If the native files are available and the person making the updates is proficient in the design software used, yes — for straightforward text or data changes. For anything affecting layout or print production standards, designer involvement is strongly recommended.

A proof review of the updated material — confirming the changes are correct as briefed, that no adjacent content has been inadvertently affected and that the print-ready status of the file has been maintained.

The working design file must be edited, the changes applied, and the file then re-exported and pre-flighted as a print-ready PDF. A content update is not simply editing the PDF; it requires returning to the source design file.

Through a version control system that records the content version (e.g., ‘approved copy, 14 March’) alongside the design version (e.g., ‘v3.2’) and the date of approval. This ensures the correct content and design versions are always matched and current.
